This project was awarded 1st prize in a competition created to arrive at the best architectural concept for an urban tourist service facility. Located in the area of Powiśle Street in Krakow, the Tourist Information Center is situated entirely beneath the Vistula Embankments. Since the complex was to be concealed completely within the slope of the Wawel Hill, the architectural design mainly concerned the slotted facade at the main entrance, consisting of a glass partition separating the green roof from the ground plane. It is worth noting that the fifth elevation was conceived as a green roof.
